Welcome.
Whether you are searching for a church home or looking for answers to life's biggest questions, we are glad you found us. These pages are designed to briefly introduce you to the mission and ministries of Pike Creek. We hope this website will give you an idea of the life and joy of Christ in our church.
What to Expect
Sunday service begins at 10:30am
At Pike Creek, it is our great privilege to gather as God's people and worship Him each week. We are being transformed by the grace of God through the work of Jesus Christ in our hearts. Each Sunday morning we gather together to express our heartfelt gratitude and love for our Savior, in a service of celebration.
Our meetings include contemporary music and preaching from the Bible. Some of us dress up on Sunday mornings and some of us don't. Feel free to wear what's comfortable for you, and you'll fit right in.
You are always welcome to keep your children with you. We do provide care for infants and toddlers during the entire service. Kindergarten through 5th grade children are dismissed before the sermon for Junior Church where they will be taught truths from God's word. When you visit, we will be happy to direct you to the classroom for your children.
Our Distinctives
Over the past several years, God has led and shaped our church. He has shown us the value of shared leadership, what we call a plurality of elders. We believe that the New Testament model of church leadership is for qualified men to share the responsibility of shepherding God's people. So you can expect to find any of our elders preaching on Sunday morning or leading our congregation in prayer and worship. We don't have a senior pastor: instead, the elders work cooperatively to make decisions and lead our people. This is possible as God's Spirit works in us.
A second distinctive at Pike Creek is our commitment to responding to God's work among us. Recently, He has called multiple families and individuals from our church into local and foreign missions work—we rejoice in this! Our church sees this pattern as a responsibility to partner with these people in prayer, emotional, and financial support.
