Kids & Teens
Pike Creek has always been full of families. We wholeheartedly believe that every child is a gift from God. Our church rejoices with every new baby born, and recognize that our children need Jesus. We are committed to raising our kids together as a community to know Christ.
Infants & Toddlers
Our infant nursery (0-15 months) and toddler nursery programs are available for children during our Sunday morning activities. Our committed volunteers will spend time with your children and provide a light snack while you and your family participate in our Sunday school and worship service.
3 yr old - 6th Grade
Sunday School - 9-10am
We offer classes for children 3 years through adults. Your children will be taught by committed teachers who will love and nurture your them. The curriculum we use is Christ-centered and Bible-based and shows children their need for Jesus at an age-appropriate level.
Junior Church - 10:30am - Noon
Junior Church provides an age-appropriate lesson and fun games for kids during our worship services. Children Kindergarten-5th grade are dismissed to Junior Church from the worship service, while our 3- and 4-year olds have a separate class through the entire service.
AWANA - 5:30-7:30pm
Make sure to bring your kids back on Sunday evenings for our AWANA program. Held at the same time as our junior and senior high youth groups, AWANA is geared towards children 3 years old through 6th grade. Each meeting consists of handbook time, where children work with leaders to memorize Bible verses, large group time, and game time. The goal of AWANA is to teach kids about the good news of Jesus and to teach them to know Him through His word. We are fortunate to have a number of adults from our congregation who faithfully serve as leaders in our AWANA program.
Junior High
Sunday School - 9-10am
On Sunday mornings we give our 6th-8th graders an opportunity to talk through their week with an adult. In the context of relationship, our junior high students are encouraged to figure out how the Bible and their relationship with Jesus Christ impacts real life. We want our junior high students to learn how Christ-centered, Bible-based teaching has relevance to practical living.
CrossRoads - 5:30-7:30pm
Our Junior High ministry focuses on the kinds of issues middle school students face each day and examines how the Bible can be used as an indispensable guide to address those issues. In addition to "real life" biblical application, our students also explore the basics of the Christian faith. CrossRoads provides many opportunities for participants to enjoy informal Christian fellowship and service in an atmosphere of acceptance - where every teen is important!
Senior High
Sunday School - 9-10am
On Sunday mornings our 9th-12th graders meet with our youth leaders in a small group setting. This class seeks to help students take that next big step of owning their own faith and challenges them to go deeper into scripture so that they may know God and experience Him in their lives in a very real way.
CrossWalk - 5:30-7:30pm
The senior high ministry of Pike Creek Bible Church is a dynamic program that challenges students to enter and continue in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and equips them to impact their world for Him. The goal of the ministry is to create a strong community that is centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to shape maturing teens into young adults who recognize their need for a Savior, have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, serve Jesus through serving others, and who will go out into this world and make disciples for Jesus Christ! CrossWalk provides opportunities for our students to experience, apply and proclaim the gospel of our Lord. Some of these opportunities include: weekly study of God's word, participation in short-term missions trips, service projects, retreats, and many opportunities for fun and fellowship.
